DR BALRAJ OUGRA

Principal Chiropractor

Balraj is a dedicated, experienced and caring Chiropractor who has a key focus on sports injuries and family care. Balraj was introduced to Chiropractic through his passion for health and sport and went on to complete a Bachelor of Chiropractic Science and a Master of Chiropractic at Macquarie University, whilst remaining an active University Sports Scholar.

Over the past 7 years, Balraj has been working with Volleyball NSW, Volleyball Australia, the Australian Volleyball League and on the FIVB World Beach Volleyball tour.

Balraj was born and raised in The Sydney Hills Shire and continues to make a significant impact in the Sydney Hills and Blacktown City community through volunteering in various initiatives and projects. Further to this Balraj is working in the multicultural space and has been a Cricket Australia Community Ambassador, Commonwealth Games Ambassador, a Sydney Thunder Fan Council Rep, the National Volleyball Coordinator for ANSSACC, the Secretary for Super Sikhs Sports and Cultural, and an Advisory Board member for Cricket NSW initiative MOSAIC Cricket Association.

Balraj uses his knowledge and experience of competing at the state, national and international level for volleyball to assist athletes and active people, with sporting injuries such as lower back pain, neck pain, muscle strains, sprained ankles and shoulder pain. This has seen him work with a number of elite athletes at various events and be on tour with Sponsored Athletes. Playing numerous sports as a kid, Balraj represented Roslea Football Club, North Rocks Soccer Club, Carlingford Waratahs Cricket Club, Northern Districts Cricket Association and Baulkham Hills Volleyball. He now participates in volleyball and cricket for Just Spike It and Super Sikhs Sports and Cultural.

Balraj uses a variety of techniques to provide a safe, enjoyable and effective care to all his clients. Techniques used include Diversified, Thompson, Activator, and various Soft tissue and mobilisations techniques.

Balraj looks forward to helping the local communities of Carlingford, including families in North Rocks, West Pennant Hills, Baulkham Hills, Epping, Beecroft, Oatlands and Parramatta, to improve their health. He is available to help with sports injuries, pain management or manage a specific goal to improve your overall wellbeing and quality of life.
